My main hobby is karate. I want to share some information about Go-Ju-Ryu Karate and my philosophy.

Club Stats

Origin of the Name

The Plus stands for the extra given. We are a small club with about 30 students. The staff consists of 4 black belts and 1 brown belt, your training is "most times" one on one. Our key focus is CONTROL, in and out of the DoJo. We teach self discipline, self esteem, self control and self defense. Also we teach the first technique you use is a block! We are disciplined in Traditional "Old World" karate like the great martial artists you have seen or read about.

Community Involvement

We have raised over $1000.00 for the 1997 March of Dimes in a 6 mile walk. Also we raised over $600.00 for the Tipton County Shares (1997 We Care) in a Kick-a-thon, sparing and board breaking.
Most of the Black Belt instructors along with a couple of adult students coach kids soccer, baseball, and football. We believe in the community and the kids.
