What Where and When!
Our first three houses is now occupied, and we are all looking forward to completing our fourth house by the end of 1999. For 2000 we are planning to focus on community improvement projects, including wheelchair accesibility and home repairs for the elderly. If you would like to help with our projects please email us or call the office. We look forward to working with you!
Tipton County Habitat for Humanity helps with inadequate housing in many ways. This project saved a family from homelessness. Although they do not meet our guidelines for Partner family status, HfHTC still felt it was important to help the family in some way. The solution was secure funds to move the family and their home to a satisfactory neighborhood. (The one they were in was condemed for a malfunctioning sewer system.)
