Project Coordinator Captain Larkin Fourkiller, "Looking good is second only to being good. Our uniforms are worn proudly, and are a symbol of excellent service provided on behalf of an outstanding community. To be recognized in such a prestigious national competition is of course, a great honor. The men and women of the Kokomo Police Department take a great deal of pride in the services they deliver and the quality of work that they do, day in and day out. Interwoven within that discipline of course is, appearance and demeanor -- all of which culminate into being a true professional."
