Session A:
Computer Rendering for Costumes                 Presenter: Ron Gloekler
If you missed the chance of going to the Professional Development Workshop at the National Conference in Denver, here is a second chance to sign on for this exciting workshop.   The presenter, Ron Gloekler, is professor of Theatre Arts and director of Costume Design/Technology at the University of Northern Colorado.   This hands on workshop will be given on Macintosh computers using Poser and Photoshop^®.   There are only 24 stations available for participants, so you must pre-register.   Observers are welcome.

Session B:
Props Construction and Finishes                 Presenter: Jill Lyons
Jill will be presenting a variety of techniques involved in prop construction and finishing, such as faux painting.   Jill recieved her degree from Western Michigan University and has been working professionally for ten years.   She is currently working in the props department at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre.

Milwaukee Repertory Theatre

We will begin our day in Milwaukee with a theater tour of the Milwaukee Rep.

Monona Rossol has agreed to present a workshop on Safety in Theater.

And we also have Jim Guy doing a stage firearms workshop/demonstration.

There are performances at Milwaukee Rep. all of which start at 4:00 PM local time. We are checking into the possibility of getting a block of tickets for at least one of their outstanding productions!

Sam Ball is doing a scenic rendering workshop for computers.
Joe Appelt - Incorporation of research and researched images into lighting designs
Linda Roethke is doing a costume drawing workshop.
Virgil Johnson is doing a costume watercolor rendering workshop.
Also, a possible reception for the student design show!
