USITT Midwest 1999-2000 Schedule of Events |
Join us for our fall event as we kick off the 1999-2000 season! Registration will begin at 9:15 am. Zoe Morsette, a freelance costume crafts/props artisan from New York, will be conducting a full day workshop on how to work with foam to sculpt costumes and props. Preregistration and additional programming fees will be in effect for participants in this workshop.
For those who leap tall buildings with a single bound, we will be offering a demonstration on fall protection equipment. Our presenters will be Elk River Fall Protection Equipment and Surety, Inc.
Standard programming fees are in effect for this event with the exception of participants in the foam sculpture workshop. Complete details will be on the program flyer that will be sent out in mid-September.
All programs are subject to change without notice.
Join us for a backstage tour of the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre on Navy Pier. The tours will start at 10:00 am and will give you a look at this exciting theater. The tour will conclude before lunch and you will have an opportunity to get tickets for a matinee or evening performance of your choice, or just take in the sights of Chicago. A list of shows that will be playing on that day can be viewed by clicking the "Link!" button to the right.
The Chicago Shakespeare Theatre has just received a block of tickets back for the January 22nd evening's performance of A Midsummer Nights' Dream, which they are making available to USITT Midwest before they release them for public purchase!
