EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING

Members present: A.D. Carson, Kathy Donnelly, Mike Nielsen, Ken Fraza, Dennis Dorn, Kurt Ottinger, Steve Jacobs and Dave Krajec

Members Absent: David Del Colletti, Jon Limbacher, John Devlin, Mick Alderson, and Rob Kerby.

Also Present: Kate Wulle, DPR editor

1. Meeting called to order by Dennis Dorn at 11:05 a.m.
2. Minutes from last meeting presented and approved.
3. New Executive Board is as follows:
   • Dennis Dorn - Chair, term expires 2002
   • David Krajec - Vice chair for membership, term expires 2001
   • Kathleen Donnelly - Vice Chair for Programming, term expires 2001
   • R. J. Mike Nielsen - Treasurer, term expires 2001
   • Kurt Ottinger - Secretary, term expires 2001
   • David Del Colletti - Immediate Past Chair term expires 2002
   • Mick Alderson - term expires 2001
   • John Devlin - term expires 2001
   • Jon Limbacher - term expires 2001
   • A.D. Carson - term expires 2002
   • Ken Fraza - term expires 2002 (also section webmaster)
   • Steve Jacobs - term expires 2002
   • Rob Kerby - term expires 2002
   • Also - Kate Wulle and Paul Johnson, editors of DPR, but not official board members

5. Programming:
   • There was a proposal to raise the September programming budget not to exceed $1,500.   Motion carried.   Program is Sept. 9^th at Western Michigan University.
   • The spring event is either the last weekend of April or first weekend of May at Northwestern University.   There will be a sound presentation and costume presentation in the morning and in the afternoon; model making in morning; computer rendering in the afternoon.   Would also like to tap into shows happening in the Chicago area.
   • Brochure - after July 1 will put together the programming brochure.   Will try to get it to press by the 2nd week of July.
   • There was a motion not to exceed $500 for the printing and mailing the brochure, motion carried.
   • There was a motion to raise fees to $50/$35/$20/$10.   The motion carried 6-2.
   • There was a question on whether there should be an increase in workshop fees when people participate to $35.00.   Consensus was the increase is warranted.
6. Next board meeting tentatively Aug. 18 in Northbrook, IL.
7. It was moved and seconded that the annual meeting be March 22, 2001 during the USITT national meeting at 8 a.m. local time.   Motion carried.
