EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING
June 12, 1999

Members Absent: Limbacker, Donnelly, Krajec

- Meeting was called to order at 11:30 a.m. by Chairperson Del Colletti
- Introduction of executive board
- David Del Colletti reported that there is now no webmaster since Dan Brinker resigned. Ken Fraza volunteered to become the new webmaster and move the site to his location. Ken would like any suggestions on changes to the web pages.
- Founders award: Mike Nielsen recommended information be published in the fall D.P.R. and a mailer be sent
with membership renewals for nominees. Nominations need to be back in by November 15, 1999.
- Programming:
- Fall event will be at the Krannert center on Saturday October 30, 1999. Elk River will show fall protection equipment. A costume/props workshop will be given by Zoe Morissette. Ms. Morissette's fee will be $500.00 plus airfare to/from New York. Kate Wulle moved and Roy Hoglund seconded a motion that Zoe Morissette be brought in for the workshop with board approval of up to $1,000.00 for fee and expenses. The board voted approval of the motion.
- Leroy Stoner noted that the American Collegiate Theatre Festival will be held in Milwaukee January 5-7, 2000, so possibly the Section event could tie in some how, or the Section could become involved in the ACTF in some way. Rob Kirby suggested that the Midwest Section could sponsor a reception at ACTF to help bolster membership.
- The spring program will be at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, on April 29, 2000. This event will be a dyeing, painting and distressing costumes session, and possibly a session on scene painting.
- Mike Nielsen said A.D. Carson at Milwaukee Rep has offered to have a tour of the facility with the possiblity of a firearms demonstration. This is a possible event for the 2000-2001 year.
- David noted that the fall and spring event dates were set, the January date and event were still in progress with a possibility for something in Milwaukee. Cindy will see what productions may be in Milwaukee in January.
- Rob Kirby motioned and Ken Fraza seconded a motion to end the Meeting and the motion carried.
- Meeting was adjourned at 1:55 p.m.
